Dear all Alhassan Foundation’s friends, believers & supporters,

As you know that Alhassan foundation is seeking People with Disabilities (PWDs) full inclusion in society through sports & arts as we consider it a MUST for a healthy balanced equation.

  1. Our Sports & Arts project is one of the most successful and inspiring projects that we are proud of.
  2. We are the only foundation that has sports teams holding their name playing as Alhassan Foundation’s Team in Table Tennis, Swimming, Karate and many other sports.
  3. We sponsor professional training for physically challenged (wheelchair users) athletes, kids & adults, who have artistic talents as a part of empowering the Differently Abled physically and consequently financially.

So we choose to introduce to you this time one of our successful figures:

Please meet Hend from ElSharqia - Egypt

Age: 40 years old

Injury: Quadriplegic (Car Accident)

Hend joined the foundation to benefit from Sports & Arts project. She joined our Swimming team and entered several championships & contests and proudly gained numerous medals. Practicing sport changed Hend’s life completely. It charged her with enormous positive energy. Hend says that “I get into the swimming pool with negative energy and come out after training with positive power”. Hend carries the title of the “Golden Fish” as a swimmer.

She started to see all the world’s problems as it is and that it doesn’t matter anymore as she stopped exaggerating her challenges. Practicing sports made her more flexible in dealing and communicating with others. It made her do stuff she never thought that she will be able to achieve like travelling alone from a city to the other for training. Sport made Hend more confident, powerful, and believing in her abilities more than ever.

Currently Hend is a Radio presenter in a show named as “Bint ElZayat” and she is hosting successful figures from the foundation’s members and she said that she still has lots of dreams to achieve by God willing.

Not only that, but also we are proud to have young adults, who have promising achievenments in sport since they were kids as we support and sponsor them through Sports & Arts project under the umbrella of our unique project "Kids on Wheels".

Please check the link below to know more about our beautiful promising young swimmer Malak, we know that Malak will achieve all her dreams and be a successful young athlete representing Egypt all over the world very soon with her determination and your support & prayers:
