Dear Alhassan Foundation’s friends, believers and supporters,

Hope you’re all safe and sound.

Sports and Arts project is one of our core projects; it offers an outlet for wheelchair users to socialize and learn new skills while maintaining their physical and mental health.

Thanks to your generous donations and support during the past 3 years, we were able to serve a total of 178 beneficiaries – males and females of all age groups – throughout Egypt in our Sports and Arts project and we scored a total of 290 medals!

The sports and arts activities are currently very limited due to regulations enforced after the COVID-19 crises. Some of our athletes are trying very hard to find an alternative to overcome this by seeking individual trainings and/or practice their daily workout at home to stay healthy and in shape and encourage others to do the same. Here’s a video of Mohamed, our young champion, enjoying his time in pool and doing what he loves the most, swimming, after spending months away from it during quarantine

We currently have a waiting list of all beneficiaries who are interested in pursuing a new hobby and leading an active life. We will gradually resume our activities – within allowed – taking all procedures and measures to ensure the safety of our staff and beneficiaries.

Alhassan employees are now working at full-power from office in order to serve all beneficiaries whom were assigned to our various projects during quarantine.

We would like to thank every one of you for your support. We urge you to continue supporting our cause and staying loyal donors to our cause through subscribing to a monthly recurring donation option. That will help wheelchair users in Egypt be more confident and accomplished. Please visit our Facebook page to read other success stories:

Thank you for believing in the differently abled. :)
