Dear Alhassan Foundation’s donors, believers and supporters
Our project “Sports and Arts” is one of our core projects that offers wheelchair users the chance to live their life and pursue their hobbies and interests just like their abled peers and maintain their physical and mental health.
We want to thank you dear donor for your donation and support which enable us to continue our mission and be the stepping stone for wheelers to reach their dreams and goals.
We would like to share this success story: Abanob is a 25-years-old guy who was born with cerebral palsy. He joined our swimming team in 2017 and he showed great potential which qualified him to register at the Paralympic committee and participate in championships. Despite the challenges Abanob faced since childhood, he was able to score 13 medals in swimming and boccia at different national and international championships.
His achievements didn’t stop there, he joined the Egyptian national team of boccia in 2019 and participated in the first Arab African Boccia Championship in Tunisia and has won a bronze medal.
Your donation helped us support Abanob by enrolling him in our sports program and providing him with a customized wheelchair which was a main reason behind his physical independence and pursuing his dream of being a sports champion.
We want to thank every donor and supporter who helped us achieve this success and we urge you to continue supporting us in our cause, our hope, our dream through subscribing to a monthly donation which helps us offer more opportunities for the wheelchair users in Egypt and see them become world-class champions!
