Sports and Arts for Egypt's Physically Challenged!

Our project “Sports and Arts” is one of our core projects that offers wheelchair users the chance to live their life and pursue their hobbies and interests just like their abled peers and maintain their physical and mental health.

We want to thank you dear donor for your donation and support which enable us to continue our mission and be the stepping stone for wheelers to reach their dreams and goals.

Because we believe in the importance of sports in the lives of people with disabilities and in their potential.

Shaimaa and Wafaa… Table Tennis Champions

Sometimes, real change begins with a simple moment…

A moment like when Shaimaa and Wafaa received their electric wheelchairs from Alhassan Foundation for differently abled Inclusion.

It was the start of a new life — filled with comfort, confidence, and the belief that dreams are within reach.

That was the beginning of their journey.

Despite being diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, they decided to try something completely new:

joining a table tennis team.

In 2022, they competed in their first tournament in Port Said, determined to prove themselves.

Three years of training, challenges, setbacks, and perseverance followed.

Then, they returned to the same place — but this time, as true champions.

Shaimaa won a gold medal in the singles category and a bronze in mixed doubles.

Wafaa amazed everyone with three medals: gold in singles, gold in juniors, and bronze in mixed doubles.

This wasn’t just a victory —

It was a story of determination that began with the words “let’s try,” and was made possible through support, resilience, and unwavering will.

Their return to Port Said wasn’t a coincidence.

It was the return of champions.

Congratulations, Shaimaa and Wafaa.
