Hello Donors, you are the fuel which keeps us going! Your financial support has a direct impact on our project. You enable us to carry out our mission!
2026 will be twenty five years since Youlou Arts has offered the annual visual arts programme titled " Growing Young SVG Artists". The programme promotes creativity and gives children the opportunity to express themselves, and learn about their cultural heritage.
Right now we are in the midst of making plans to celebrate this special anniversary. We want the 25th anniversary to be extra special.
The plan is to have the programme in 5 locations Kingstown, Georgetown, Tourama, Buccament Bay, and Spring Village. The art activities will focus on climate change. We will continue creating more tiny forests in the Georgetown, and Spring Village locations. Kingstown is also a possibility we are awaiting confirmation.
Completing the mural in the Kingstown vegetable market place, a project we started in 2024, is another planned activity.
Also there are plans to take a field trip to Black Point Tunnel, a historic tunnel which was constructed in 1815. There the children can gather to learn the history of the tunnel and most of all to celebrate.
Donors, we are counting on you for your support. Our focus is to offer a memorable 2026 programme
We are deeply committed. Thank you for your generosity. It is greatly appreciated. Just imagine 25 years of offering "Growing Young SVG Artists".
