As 2024 is coming to a close we are reflecting on an incredible year of expansion and growth.
2024 was the year of Fearless Futures — every 8-week season we dove into a skill that supports the growth of future fearless leaders. From empathy to an innovation mindset,collaboration to communication — all seasons focused on important leadership skills.
We believe by empowering kids to see themselves as leaders, we can create a more just and equitable world for all.
We reached over 450 participants in our programs of 2024.
And held over 4 unique events in Amsterdam, the Hauge, and Rotterdam. From bouldering to snowboarding to our Fearless 5k in which 370 people joined us for our largest community event of the year!
Amsterdam Centrum: We expanded our bouldering program added a program for ages 12-14, which has been full since the start.
Amsterdam Nieuw-West: Adding a mothers and women program has helped us strengthen our relationship within the community in NW and create a ripple of effect of Role Models. From the girls to the moms and vice versa.
Rotterdam: 2024 was our official first full year of courses in Rotterdam. We had over 42 girls joining across basketball, sustainable sewing, and football.
Team: This year a big focus of ours was building out our behind the scenes team. This meant whirring a part time Rotterdam Ops coordinator and a part time Funding & Partnerships manager. Both of these are essential roles as we look to the future of expansion and sustainable growth.
