Dear supporters,
After the official lauch of our child abuse and bullying support system, kimino micata on April 1st, we are happy to report that things are moving forward! Currently, we have 8 schools using the system, meaning almost 4,000 students between the ages of 7 and 18 now have access. We are happily accepting feedback from both students and users in the hope the system can best suit their needs. We are continuously updating the system, with Version 6 to be released in autumn 2023 (more exciting news to come on that front soon!)
One of the exciting oppurtunities we had this quarter was meeting with members of Department of International Trade at the The British Embassy Tokyo. We are all hoping that Japan can continue to make advances in order to protect the next generation from bullying, abuse, mental health issues and so much more. We believe that kimino micata, and other grass roots initiatives (which prioritize children's wellbeing and diversity/inclusion education) are a small but critical element within UK/Japan relations that aim to foster this important paradigm shift.
