Dear Donors, Well Wishers and Friends,
Greetings!!
We wish you a very Merry Christmas and warm festive greetings.
With immense joy and gratitude, we are happy to share another progress report of the Stop Hunger Project. Your continued support has made it possible for us to reach some of the most vulnerable women and families, restoring not just food security, but dignity and hope.
During the last quarter, with your generous support, 100 women with blindness and low vision were provided with ration kits. The Stop Hunger Project is not merely about distributing food supplies—it is about ensuring a life of dignity, stability, and independence for women with disabilities.
We would like to share the inspiring journey of Ms. Shanti, a single mother with blindness. She has two sons—one studying in Class 5 and the other in Class 2. After being divorced by her husband, life became extremely challenging for her. Being blind, she approached many places in search of work but was repeatedly denied opportunities. With no stable income and no support system, she was forced to beg outside a temple to survive. During this phase, she also faced abuse and humiliation from people, making everyday life painfully difficult.
The Stop Hunger Project reached out to Ms. Shanti and provided her with ration kit support, ensuring immediate food security for her family. Gradually, through continued guidance and encouragement, she was supported to set up a small street vending business. Today, Ms. Shanti runs her business independently, earns a stable income, supports the education of her two sons, and lives a self-reliant and dignified life.
Stories like Ms. Shanti’s are a direct reflection of your compassion and belief in inclusive development. Your support has transformed lives—moving women from hunger and despair to confidence and independence.
We express our heartfelt thanks to all our donors, well-wishers, and friends for standing with us. Your generosity continues to be the foundation of every success story we create together.
With sincere gratitude and warm regards,
