Dear Donors,
Thank you for supporting this project to protect adolescent girls in Nigeria from trafficking and exploitation. Your support helps create a safe space where girls gain education, vocational skills, and health guidance, giving them safer paths to independence and a secure future.
Thousands of girls are at risk of being trafficked into domestic servitude or transactional labor due to poverty, low literacy, and lack of opportunities. Many drop out of school, face abuse, and have limited means to earn a living safely. Without intervention, these girls remain vulnerable to repeated exploitation and long-term harm.
This project establishes a centre where girls receive adult education, vocational training in trades like tailoring, catering, and computing, as well as counseling and life skills sessions. By equipping them with practical knowledge, confidence, and decision-making skills, the program reduces reliance on exploitative survival methods and opens pathways to dignified work.
Over time, participants will be less vulnerable to traffickers, able to start small businesses or secure employment, and break cycles of poverty. The project also promotes community awareness, helping prevent trafficking practices and inspiring other girls to pursue safe and empowering opportunities.
At this stage, donations received are not sufficient to launch the project, but with your continued support, we can protect these girls and provide them with the tools to build safer, more independent lives.
With thanks,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
