Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan often raises voice against voilence against women and other social evils and organizes several awareness programs to make the community aware. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors, organizes workshop, signature campaign, poster competition, debate competition, street show, puppet show at times. The awareness programs which have been organized by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan in this session are as follow:
** Debate Competition:- In order to make girls aware of social evils, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation organized a debate competition in Government Girls School, Barna. “Child Marriage” was the topic of the debate competition in which the girls participated with excitement. They explained demerits and disadvantages of child marriage in the competition and expressed their thought in favour and against of the topic. More than 200 girls were informed and aware through the debate competition. The winners were awarded by first, second and third price which encouraged all the girls.
** Signature Campaign & Public Rally:- Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the financial support of the donors, organized signature campaign and public rally in village Makarwali. Women chanted slogans against female foeticide and gender inequality in the public awareness rally. The strong chanting was slogans by women participants in each street of the village delivered message to the society. Afterwards, all women participants supported the program through signature campaign swore to keep the village free from violence.
** Workshop:- Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized a workshop for the elimination of vilence against women and to make women aware of their legal rights. The workshop was held at Amba & brikchiyawas, remote villages in Pisangan block in which 85 rural women took participate in the workshop. Our activists informed them their legal rights in the workshop along with the ways to deal with the situation of violence. Attending the workshop increased confidence level of the women participants and they came to know about their legal rights for which they thanked Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan along with GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors.
