Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organizes awareness program on a large scale to prevent violence against women and other social evils. The organization, at present puts efforts to make rural and urban communities aware of social evils. Through our efforts the sociey is becoming aware and women get knowledge of their legal rights.
In the series, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, organized workshops at 12 distant villages in Pisangan block and made women aware through public rally and street shows. In the workshop, we give information to women about their legal rights and deliver message to be free from violence. Public rally, streets shows were also held through which our activists and volunteers made rural community aware of gender equality, save girl - educate girl, child marriage, dowry. More than 400 women participated in all programs held by the organization.
Under awareness program, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan also organized poster making competition for school girls. The girl students made posters on various issues as girl education, gender inequality, child marriage & dowry and delivered message to the society. The student performed best in the poster making competiton was awarded to encourage all of them. Our activists swore all the students to oppose violence against women and to make a violence free society.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan got information of a girl who was a victim of violence. 26 years old Komal resides at a slum in Ajmer. She was oppressed by a tantric and also exploited sexually by him. When Komal's family came to know all about, they got case filed against the tantric in court and got justice for Komal. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan helped Komal by providing her training for garment making and then a sewing machine was given to her free so that she may have a source of livelihood. Now, she earns from her place and builds her future bright for which Komal thanks GlobalGiving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan.
