Happy Diwali !!
Happy Diwali !!

Respected Donor Namaste!!

RSKS India family wishes you A Joyful & Prosperous "Happy Diwali".

We Hope that "The Festival of Light - Diwali" brings you all sort of happiness this year. It is your and GlobalGiving support that has brought the light of happiness to the darkened life of poor children and marginalized women.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan thanks you for the same from the bottom of the heart.

Violence against women is the most sensational matter of our society where we hear the incidents of violence against women very often. On the other hand, our society is not aware of many other sensitive issues as female foeticide, child marriage, gender inequality, etc.. Women still fight for their legal rights in which the society doesn't support them. Little awareness of the society is the major reason of violence against women and other related issues.

In order to make the society strengthen and aware, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organizes awareness programs on several social issues. In the series, RSKS in collaboration with GlobalGiving Foundation, organized signature campaign and awareness rally in 5 distant villages. The organization put efforts to aware the community of eradication of female foeticide and child marriage through the signature campaign. Everyone of the villages whether they were youngsters or aged, men or women supported the campaing by giving their signatures and took oath to prevent female foeticide, child marriage and other social evils to be happen in the villages.

Rural women and young girls congregated and raised their voice all together through a public rally in the villages. The mass of rural women and girls roamed from town to town and chanted slogans through which they tried to make the community aware. The rural community also supported the program and appreciated the efforts. Now, women in villages are also becoming aware of violence against them for which the entire credit goes to RSKS, GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors.

During the signature campaign and public awareness rally, one of the activists of RSKS met with 28 years old Kanta. Kanta husband was habitual to consume liquor who used to fight with her and beat her very often. Our activists arranged a meeting with Kanta and her husband and discussed their problems and consulted her husband to give up consuming liquor and made him understand about her role and responsibilities towards the family. After being consulted, Kanta husband changed his behaviour and understood his responsibilites towards the family. Now, the couple lives a happy life for which Kanta thanks RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation from the core of her heart.

The support and contribution of GlobalGiving Foundation in the project “Stop Violence Against women's in India” is commendable! And the contribution of Donors deserves praise together. Women Empowerment programe successfully with the help of the donors!!

Thanks for your Valuable support.
