We Have Been Getting your Valuable Generous Donation & Great Support over the year through GlobalGiving and we are Thankful to you from the Core of our Heart.
In order to raise voice against violent activities and atrocities happened to women, Rajsthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan takes steps. RSKS, in order to make rural women aware and the society, organizes several awareness programs as workshop, rally, signature campaign, poster competition, etc. RSKS provides information to rural women and the society through workshops about concerning act and provisions so that they may know their legal rights and be able to resist such activities happened to them.
In the series, RSKS organized an awareness program in Sawaimadhopur. RSKS, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, organized a workshop on several issues as child marriage, gender inequality and save girl in 20 distant villages. Through the workshops more that 1100 women were made aware of the issues and informed about their legal rights. Under the awareness program, women got united and marched a rally in the streets of the city to deliver message to the society. At the completion of the program, women registered their support through signature campaign.
Beneficiary's views:- A couple participated in the workshop organzied by RSKS in village Karmoda where our activists delivered message to stop discriminating son and daughter from which Kamlesh (Name changed) and durga (Name changed) (the couple) got influenced. They told us that they had a son and a daughter. Last year they stop sending their daughter to school. But, now they realized the importance of girl education in the workshop and they promised to provide better education to both of their children. Kamlesh and Manish thank a lot to RSKS to make them aware.
Village Representative's views:- RSKS, in the collaboration with GlobalGiving Foundation, organized awareness program in 20 distinct villages. Among all the villages, a workshop was held in village Sherpur in which Anil, the ward panch also present. Anil listened to our activists in the workshop carefully and got influenced. The rural community got aware of child marriage in the workshop. Anil told that such programs would definitely reduce the number of child marriage and such other social evils. Anil also appreciated the initiative taken by RSKS and thanked GlobalGiving Foundation.
