No Silence About Violence !!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.....

Abusing and violence with girls and women, inside a house or outside do happen daily. Also in village area this type of violence can be seen happening with girls and women. Most of them are not aware of this problem as they do think as their destiny. In this male dominated society, females are fighting for their rights. They are caged in the walls because they are not aware of this problem.

To stop violence against women RSKS INDIA started a program which was only possible because of GG. By this program, awareness camps were installed in 16 deprived villages. These awareness camps were made to stop violence against women, caste inequality, dowry etc. By these 16 awareness camps more than 500 females got aware. Flip charts, posters, pamphlets were used in this awareness camps to make these girls and women understand about this issue. These girls and women also took more and more participation to make these awareness camps better.

RSKS team members also did a group discussion round in these camps in which all the girls and females discussed the problems faced by them in their daily life and others were getting aware of these problems. All the girls and women took oath to stop the violence against women, dowry, gender inequality etc and also said that they will start a new violence free society. In this program, all the village officials also participated and supported these awareness camps. All the girls and women who participated in this awareness camp congratulated RSKS INDIA and the donors and GG for making them aware by this awareness camp.
