Employment in the rural area is very low. The rural women and girl have to try very hard to get employment as these women are not well educated as well as they do not have any skill certificates with them. The employer always seek for a certificate as it is a proof that the person who is having the certificate is skilled in doing his/her works. Also the women and girls who are doing their own business or have found a way to their own self employment needs a certificate so that people can seek their business or self-employment as trustworthy.
In this context, RSKS India conducted skill certificate distribution program for the trainees of vocational education school program. These vocational education schools were of bag making, garment making, handicraft, beauty parlour etc. All the women and girls who were past trainees in the vocational schools were called and then their skill certificate was being distributed to them. This program was conducted while following the social distancing and all the covid-19 safety protocols.
These skill certificates will be helpful for these girls and women trainees throughout their life. The skill certificates will help them in getting employment as well as it will help the women and girls who have opened their own business by adding more value to their business. These skill certificates are the proof that these women and girls attended the skill training and successfully learned the techniques of their respective skill trade.
