Hello Everyone
I'm Roshan, I did my social internship with Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan for one month as a part of my MBA curriculum. I was a great organisation to work with. The RSKS works to eradicate illiteracy, poverty, violence against women and social evils by ensuring empowerment of women and girls from deprived and marginalized communities.
First I had an introduction about the work done by the RSKS India NGO and then my project was defined. I worked in HER VOICE: Stop violence against women in India and Pathshala School - Value based education for rural girls. These projects have been going on for a while and I was able to see the ground impact the RSKS India was having among the marginalised communities of Ajmer, Rajasthan.
I visited the street slums to conduct workshops on Violence against women and taught school curriculum, hygiene and basic discipline to the margnalised girls of the Pathshala. The RSKS's CEO and the staffs were very supportive and helped me to learn a lot throughout the project duration.
I am very thankful to the RSKS India for giving an opportunity to work with the marginalised communities of India.
Many Thanks.
Mr. Roshan
