Raising Voices for Gender Equality !!

By Team | RSKS India

Dear Respected Donor, Namaste!

Warm Greetings from RSKS India Family!!

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized the impactful "Humari Awaz Suno Campaign", focusing on spreading awareness about Gender Equality. The campaign involved a dynamic workshop attended by 2350 school girls & boys from 47 different rural schools where they were introduced to the concept of gender equality through engaging mediums like flipcharts and storytelling. The interactive session helped the participants understand the importance of equal opportunities and rights for all genders.

Following the workshop, the school children were divided into five groups, each comprising ten children. Each group was provided with drawing sheets to creatively express their vision of gender equality. Through their drawings, they communicated strong messages about fairness, respect, and empowerment. Afterward, the girls & & boys shared their interpretations with their peers, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject.

To amplify the message, the children organized and conducted a public rally in their village, carrying slogans and placards to advocate for gender equality. Additionally, they actively participated in a signature campaign, pledging their commitment to always uphold the principles of gender equality. A unique and engaging element of the campaign was the “My Selfie” activity, where each child held up an individual message promoting gender equality, capturing moments that symbolized their dedication to the cause. The program concluded with a rewarding session where the participants were given colors, chocolates, and pens as tokens of appreciation, leaving them encouraged and inspired.

The "Humari Awaz Suno Campaign" left a lasting impression on the 2350 participating school girls & & boys and the wider community. The workshop empowered the girls &  & boys with knowledge and confidence, making them advocates for gender equality. The creative exercises, such as drawing and storytelling, provided a platform for the children to express their thoughts and dreams, fostering self-expression and critical thinking. The rally served as a strong voice in the village, spreading the campaign’s core message to the broader community. Villagers, inspired by the enthusiasm and clarity of the children, engaged in discussions about gender equality, marking a step toward changing mindsets and breaking stereotypes.

The signature campaign reinforced the children’s commitment to advocating for gender equality in their daily lives. The “My Selfie” activity, with personalized messages, added a modern and personal touch, ensuring the campaign’s reach extended beyond the village through shared photos and stories. This initiative not only raised awareness but also positioned the young participants as change-makers in their community, instilling values of equality, respect, and responsibility. Parents and local leaders lauded the effort, expressing hope for a more inclusive future shaped by these young minds.

We welcome your comments and suggestions on this report and are grateful for your support in making such impactful experiences possible.

Warm regards,
Team RSKS India
