Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, taking an initiative towards the eradication of violence against women, implementing an effective project, namely, "Stop Violence Against Women". Under the project, save girl-educate girl, gender equality, women legal rights, prevention of child marriage, eradication of female foeticide and many other sensitive issues are considered. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan is conveying awareness message among the community through street shows, workshops, seminars, signature campaigns, rallys, road shows, puppet shows, video shows and other awareness programs.
In this order, on 11th August commemorating "Daughters Day", Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organised a poster competition for school girls on the subject of save girl, educate girl and eradication of female foeticide. In addition to this, the organisation also organised public rally and workshops with the girls and conveyed awareness message for the above mentioned issues on time. The program is proving so effective. Under the project, these sort of programs were organised for 7 days at several places. More than 150 girl students contributed for the programs and took oath to make the localites aware of these issues. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan rewarded the winners of the poster competition to encourage them.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan is implementing the project in collaboration with GlobalGiving Foundation. We are glad to state that this project has been selected for the field evaluation visit held by GG UK which is proposed between 23rd August, 2016 to 27th August 2016. We are so excited for the visit because it is our first time and we will definitely have an opportunity to learn a lot during the visit. The visit will be advantageous for the success and impact of the project.
