Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, on the ocassion of Thanks Giving Day, greatly thanks you for your support and contribution. It is your support and help which makes educational, economical and social development of marginalised and deprived community possible. The noble work is made possible through Global Giving with the support of your valuable contribution. So, we again thank you on the behalf of all benefeciary families.
As you know that we have made a reference of "field evaluation visit" in our last GG project report and promised you to share the report of "field evaluation visit" soon. Now, the details of the report & experience prepared by Lizzie and Charlie, members of the evaluation team, is mentioned below.
Dear Donors.
My Name is Charlie.
I’m from the UK and just graduated from Oxford University. A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to volunteer as a Field Evaluator for GlobalGiving UK. I was given the chance to visit RSKS and complete a full evaluation of their amazing work. During the week that I was visiting, I saw an incredible amount of the varied work they do, and I was amazed at how they can do all of this on a relatively modest income. It proved to me that supporting grass roots organisations like RSKS through GlobalGiving really does make a big impact in developing communities.
I was particularly impressed by the Stop Violence Against Women campaign that is currently being run by RSKS in a number of rural communities. Deepak took time out of his busy day to drive us to a very isolated village where I, along with a packed hall of other local people, witnessed one of RSKS’s inspiring puppet shows. These shows are used to educated children and villagers to stand against gender violence. By spreading this message in public spaces and using innovative mediums such as these, RSKS is making a positive change to the lives of many vulnerable women.
In seeing the variety of projects run by RSKS, I also got a chance to spend time with their fantastic volunteers. These volunteers are true local experts: they are best placed to understand and deal with the difficult social and economic problems that RSKS tackle.
RSKS were completely transparent with all of their operations. They allowed us to audit their accounts, and see a breakdown of their spending. I can assure donors that their money will be well spend; RSKS are a truly trustworthy organisation.
RSKS were brilliant hosts, and a perfect example of a hardworking and effective grass-roots NGO. I recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation.
