Respected Donor Namaste!!

Many Greetings from RSKS India!!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.

Violence against women is a global problem. Social and Familiar factors both are the reasons behind the problem. Women are not only oppressed and victimised by society but also by family members. Though Women are now well educated and financially more independent than ever before then to somewhere, they become victim of the exploitation by various means. Women socially exploited are opened up, but women exploited by family are not opened up. They don't tell anybody about the exploitation they face to anybody due to hesitation and embarrassment and keep tolerating the exploitation. It is very important for women must be aware and know their rights to make our families and society free from violence against women.

Such a awareness program has been oraganised in 6 different rural regions of Pisangan Samiti by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the help of Global Giving Foundation. Our activists organised the workshop at Arjunpura, Kesarpura, Makreda, Saradhna, Dodiyana and Rajgarh villages. The primary subject of the workshop was female foeticide, save girl educate girl, gender equality, dowry, etc. along with violence against women. The activists also informed the women about their legal rights and all of them showed a sincere attitude in the workshop.

After organising the workshop, a public rally was organised to make people aware. Rural women took participation in the rally enthusiastically. In addition to making rural women aware, young boys and girls were also awared by road show and painting competition. The youngsters contributed for the program and made it successful. Women got a new confidence among them by getting information and they took oath to not to let anybody practise any sort of violence against them or any other woman and thus they will make a violence free family and society. Now rural women are also aware of their rights and the entire credit goes to Global Giving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan. All rural women thanked to Global Giving Foundation and the donors for their successful efforts by which the society is becoming aware.

Thanking you for your kind cooperation and financial support. Without your generous donations it is very difficult for us to ''Stop Violence Against women's in India programme''
