We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
Violence against women is a curse which is so prevalent in the society. In order to prevent it, both women and the society have to raise voice against it. RSKS India keeps putting its efforts to get women their dignity in the society. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation, organised many workshop in Pisangan to prevent the violence against women. The workshop regarding women rights and to prevent violence against women was organised at the villages Kawlai, Boraj, Bhanwta, Bheempura, Daulatkhera surrounded by Aravali mountain ranges. Women supported the workshop showing interest toward it and also gained knowledge about their legal rights at the workshop.
In addition to this, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, organised a signature campaign for the prevention of female foeticide and to promote girl education. Men and women signed and supported the campaign. All men and women participants were swore to oppose female foeticide and to emphasize on girl education. After the signature campaign, a public awareness rally was held by women where they raise their voice with the help of slogans.
In an another program, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organised road shows and puppet shows to prevent several social evils as child marriage, gender inequality, dowry, etc. We tried to make rural community understand the disadvantages of such social evils through some stories in the road show and the puppet show. A large part of the rural community took participation in the road show and the puppet show and supported.
Activities perfomed under "Stop Violence Against Women" with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation are beind admired and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan is being greeted for the same. More than 700 men and women got benefitted by these activities and the community supported it completely. All villagers thanked GlobalGiving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the bottom of their heart.
