Bringing Healthcare to the Streets

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

Thank you for supporting Street Doctors for 20,000 Disadvantaged Population. Your generosity brings essential healthcare directly to people who need it most in Nigeria’s underserved communities.

Over 80 million Nigerians live below the poverty line, many without access to basic healthcare. Individuals with disabilities, HIV/AIDS, blindness, deafness, and those in extreme poverty often go untreated due to cost, distance, or stigma. Hospitals are overcrowded, rural clinics lack doctors, and preventable conditions—such as infections, untreated wounds, malaria, and malnutrition—lead to avoidable suffering and deaths.

Donation recieved so far, though invaluable, is not yet enough to launch this life-saving project. Additional support is urgently needed to provide mobile medical services to 20,000 disadvantaged people, including diagnoses, prescriptions, first aid, and health education. Street Doctors will bring trained doctors and nurses directly into communities, supplying medications, bandages, diagnostic tools, and referral support for severe cases. By meeting people where they live, the program ensures that care is accessible, immediate, and delivered with dignity.

The long-term impact of this initiative is profound. Regular street-level medical visits will prevent minor illnesses from becoming life-threatening, reduce deaths from treatable diseases, and improve the daily health of disadvantaged populations. Individuals with chronic conditions will benefit from ongoing monitoring and free medication, multiplying the program’s impact over time.

We appeal to all supporters to continue giving generously. Every donation brings healthcare to those who would otherwise go without, saving lives, reducing suffering, and strengthening communities in the most vulnerable areas. Your support helps create lasting change in the health and wellbeing of Nigeria’s underserved populations.

With thanks,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
