Study Aid for 40 Needy Students in Malaysia

With the recent disbursement of funds that we received from the Little by Little 2021 campaign, we are able to provide study aid for 12 months to 6 underprivileged students who are pursuing their tertiary studies. The students will receive monthly allowance throughout the period of assistance to cover their living expenses so that they can stay focus on their tertiary studies, which is especially crucial as most were affected by either the Covid-19 pandemic or economic uncertainties caused by the lockdown measures that were put in place in the country. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all donors whom supported us in our campaign, as well as to the team at GlobalGiving for running the Little by Little 2021 campaign! With the further lockdown in placed recently in Malaysia which has affected underprivileged families as well as students, our Didik-Kasih EduCare program continues to provide much needed study aid to underprivileged tertiary students. In the second quarter of 2021, there were 23 candidates enrolled with the program, aimed at assisting onboarded needy students with a startup assistance and monthly study allowances for their tertiary education, while also guiding them to plan and conduct charity projects to give back to the society. This report highlights the candidates assisted by the program for the period from April 2021 until June 2021.
