Since the outbreak of civil war in Sudan in April 2023, over 10 million people have been displaced, facing a dire lack of food, shelter, and hygiene. The humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate, with children, women, and the elderly suffering the most.
In response to this crisis, YEÇED (Children of the Earth Association) launched the Sudan Emergency Relief Project, working closely with local partners to deliver life-saving humanitarian aid. Our ongoing efforts focus on:
Hot meal distribution for families facing hunger,
Hygiene kit provision to prevent disease and uphold human dignity,
Essential supplies including blankets, water containers, and emergency shelter items.
Despite our ongoing support, the needs are escalating. With no end to the conflict in sight, millions remain in critical need of help. YEÇED remains dedicated not only to emergency relief but also to building long-term resilience among displaced populations.
With this project, we reaffirm our commitment to act swiftly, stand in solidarity, and deliver the aid Sudanese families urgently need. Together, we aim to restore dignity, hope, and safety.
