NDAW ACADEMIE EXPANDED TO NEW REGIONS in SENEGAL
what starts as a basketball becomes confidence in life, and what starts as a court becomes a better future!

NDAW ACADEMIE basketball camp was held in Guediawaye, Senegal, in honor of Abdoulaye Diene, a remarkable athlete and community leader whose journey and resilience inspire the next generation. NDAW A. inspired by Abdoulaye’s achievements, helped bring this camp to life in his neighborhood.
The camp centered on the values of dedication, determination, and discipline, equipping youth with the skills to thrive on and off the court. Participants engaged in dynamic warm-ups, bodyweight training, skills stations, all-star games, as well as a skills challenge, dunk contest, and three-point shootout. Fun group games encouraged interaction and built lasting friendships.
Over 60 young athletes attended the camp, receiving 50+ pairs of shoes and 100+ pieces of sports clothing. Throughout the camp, the importance of community, teamwork, and education was emphasized, leaving a lasting impact on all who participated.
Also this year 2025 NDAW ACADEMIE operate in the heart of Fatick, a vibrant community of young athletes gathered for a NDAW ACADEMIE program that redefined the intersection of basketball training, mentorship, and character building. The initiative fostered a high-energy environment where discipline, collaboration, and self-confidence grew side by side.
To fuel this growth, NDAW ACADEMIE provided essential resources, donating over 25 pairs of shoes and more than 30 pieces of premium athletic gear, including official William & Mary team apparel. Beyond the physical donation, this program represented a deep investment in the next generation. By equipping these athletes both mentally and physically, we are strengthening the community’s foundation and proving that sports and education are the ultimate catalysts for long-term change.
In Thies, in 2025 NDAW ACADEMIE had its first edition camps. Supported and partnering with MHC MEP, William and Mary Soccer and William and Mary Lacrosse NDAW ACADEMIE supported sccer club ASC Fessane. The donation of shoes and closting and a professional camp gave players the resources and skills to compete and also showed NDAW ACADEMIE's commitment to expand beyond basketball and invets in multiple sports.
NDAW ACADEMIE operated again in Kolda this year, now expanding to also supporting the handball club in Kolda in addition to the basketball support to the youth in Kolda.
Lastly in 2025 NDAW ACADEMIE supported MBAO community and Sports Club truly showing NDAW ACADEMIE's commitment to reach the most vulnerable populations in the communities
