We want to present you all, three individual reports of our adolescents with Hearing Loss.
The first case is Jamilton, he is 12 years old and his diagnosis is Expressive Language Disorder and Disorder in the Reception of the Language.
During this period, he fully attended the program, showing appreciation for the handwriting activities, everyday improving his calligraphy. Requires reinforcement by an adult to have better articulation of the words.
In his achievements, he knows how to encode syllabic-vowel words: Writes the corresponding vowels from an illustration or a given word of two or more syllables.
-Recognizes almost every word in the vocabulary of means of transport.
-Recognizes and applies the meaning of division, by making one figure divisions.
The second case is Isabel Cristina, she is 11 years old and her diagnosis is Mixed Hypoacusis from Moderate to Severe Bilateral Degree.
During the period presented motivation and good achievements in literacy. She is currently reading sentences and understands them if the vocabulary is known.
Among her achievements we have:
-Recognition and writing of the initial letter of the name of each of his colleagues.
-Comprehensive reading of short texts with known vocabulary.
-Identification of the process of multiplication: she performs multiplications autonomously.
The third case is Eduar, he is 11 years old and his diagnosis in his right ear is Peripheral Hearing Sensitivity within of Parameters of Normality and in the left ear Mixed Hearing Loss of Slight Degree.
Eduar has changed in the disposition and attitude that had in towards the execution of the activities, however it is necessary to continue making constant emphasis on the execution of commands for the development of activities. It is suggested to continue with the support provided by the Foundation for the development of cognitive, auditory, linguistic and oral communicative skills.
Goals achieved by Eduar:
-Creation of short written texts from meaningful situations.
-Writing of missing words to complete sentences or texts.
-Writing of basic sentences with the support of three proposed images.
-Understanding of written questions with interrogative pronouns: What? From where? What? Where? How? Why?
-Identification of the different characters involved in a story or story.
-Recognition of hundreds of a three-digit number.
On behalf of all these beneficiaries who have been helped through your donations, thank you so much again.
You cannot be physically with them for the distance, but from the bottom of your hearts you have been there, which is the most important for their recovering.
