Valentina is 8 years old, she has a peripheral auditory sensitivity and problem in language expression.
At the pedagogical intervention level, she is a girl who understands short texts, infers and describes situations from them.
At the speech language level, Valentina recognizes specific achievements in the capacity for expression and oral comprehension and personal relationships. She works with pleasure in each activity proposed, is more responsive and gives significant contributions in some of the topics worked.
Several school visits were made during the year, giving specific suggestions on the changes to be made in relation to teaching-learning strategies and in the processes that should be reinforced at reading and writing level. The teachers stated that in Valentina many achievements had been made at a general level, recognizing in her a good attitude for learning, the participation and a desire to learn. In addition, the support of her family is recognized by the teachers, this has always been punctual and relevant.
Valentina is one of the proofs that a small action of philanthropy can trigger great changes in behavior and knowledge on the part of a child with some difficulty.
We want to encourage you to continue your support for our hearing loss population.
See you next time!
