AHD helping to tackle floods rehabilitation, Droughts, Crisis of drinking contaminated water, and helping to save Freshwater, rainwater, pond and lake water to save groundwater and saved from incoming crises and tackle Cholera Outbreaks in Pakistan & Asia, Africa. 01 One Nadi filter gives 60 to 100 litters safe and clean drinking water daily and 08 to 20 members in family & lifetime in Pakistan Nadi filter working since past 19 years and 17 years.
One Nadi filter saves families, girls, women and children to be saved at home and do not trafficking or harassment, Handpumps factory of crisis when children go to pick water, they are vulnerable, needs to save these children and women at household level.

Life in rural village women skilled and saving health of her 7 members family

A lady lives in village nera Jati Sawajal since last many years and she has 7 members in her family, 3 are males and 4 are females. She told us that before installation of Nadi filter units we are suing canal water which is tasteless and also harmful for us but as we have no option to drinking or find safe drinking water.
She told us that in the month of March 2008 AHD staff came to visit our village and conducted one meeting in which they share the Nadi filter drinking water techniques. I learned and share with my husband and we both decided to make Nadi filter at our home. Thanks to AHD staff they trained us and given the material at our doorstep and we make our own Nadi filter unit. We are happy to have facility for drinking safe and clean drinking water at household level and now myself and my husband skilled to make our own filter at any time without any help of AHD staff.

Difficult days for poor rural Bajani communities during Floods 2025
Difficult for rural poor (Bajani) communities during floods 2005 in Pakistan, almost 34 districts from Gilgit to Sindh affected and the flood victims crossed 6.2 million divested completely homes submerged in flood water and the disaster increasing day by day towards major crisis for rural poor communities, Food, Shelter, Health and WASH fully damaged and the flood victims do not have anything to left behind.
The riverside (River Indus) from Gilgit Baltistan to Thatta Sindh fully vulnerable the families (women, children, girls, young people and old people) homemade mud and Kacha houses.
Let us join hands to help in sustainable way so that in future they will not be affected same,
