Sport dans la Ville offers international trips that unite young people from around the world, through sport. At our camp in the South of France, they enjoy unforgettable days of discovery, sports, and shared joy. This Giving Tuesday, let's make it possible.
Year after year, across the globe, many parents simply cannot afford to give their children holidays or time away from home. In the UK alone, 51% of parents worry they will be unable to take their kids on vacation due to financial pressure and rising costs. At Sport dans la Ville, we believe every child deserves equal chances, and that holidays are essential to their growth and long-term development. Every young person should be able to discover the world and that is why we truly need you today
At Sport dans la Ville, our mission is to give young people from disavantaged neighborhoods the confidence, desire and means to dream and succeed. In underprivileged neighborhoods, sport is a powerful force for social and territorial cohesion. In 2021, we opened an amazing camp center in Drome Provencale to welcome youth, as The Domaine de Chabotte is above all a place for exchange, sharing, and support - a social-impact project led by the organization Sport dans la Ville.
Each year, 400 deserving young people including 50 youth from abroad ( US, UK, BRAZIL, BELGIUM ) are selected for a camp or stay based on their exemplary behavior. They are not chosen for sports skills or grades, but for embodying the values of Sport dans la Ville at school, home, and in their community. These experiences are life-changing, fostering growth and creating encounters that can transform their future. You have a role to play too in this journey to help changing their life !
