The following were some of the activities we carried out during this period:
On February 28th, 2025, we celebrated Sanar Foundation´s 40th anniversary with a sung mass attended by patients and their families, the Sanar team, and the Board of Directors. We shared cake, made a toast, and an honorable mention was given to the Foundation's longest-serving employee. Several patients shared their experiences about the progress of their treatment and the support they received from Sanar.
During the month of March, "educational suitcases" were delivered to the chemotherapy room and the preschool, so the children could have books, notebooks, crayons, and educational games in these spaces to help them pass the time in a more fun way.
On April 26th, we held our third Talent Show, recognizing that every child is unique and admiring their courage and artistic talent. Thirty children took the stage, sang, danced, and played musical instruments; it was a joyous display in the midst of adversity.
We also took a grroup of patients to the BIMa amusement park.
In May, we honored the caregiver mothers with an exquisite dinner prepared especially for them to show them how valuable they are.
And as is our custom, we celebrated the birthdays of our child patients every month.
