Colors of Rainbow with Kids !!

By Team | RSKS India

Dear Friend Namaste!!

RSKS India Wishes you A Happy Colourful Holi ....

RSKS India celebreated the festival of colours "Holi" in a grand way. We organized ''The Color's of Rainbow with Street Kids'' programme on the HOLI occasion, with little ones of street and slums kids in the city. When our activists visited the slums, then we came to know the living standard of the slums on festival of color HOLI. The children have to live in such a pathetic condition even they don't have fundamental requirements to live.

RSKS India organized ''Holi Mahotsav'' in 18 slums where around 500 street and slum children participated. In the program, we first distributed Colors, Gulal, Pichkari, sweet, food packes consisted of delicious rule, pastry, paties, kurkure, chocholate, cream rule, cup cake, etc. to all children. The children enjoyed the food stuffs, then they played holi with colours. They were so much excited while playing holi.

Team RSKS wished Happy Holi to all children and our activists played Holi with them. One of our activists had conversation with a group of children and came to know about their living style.

These five children reside at slum of national Highway, a distant are of the city and live nomadic life. All five children are rag-pickers. Their fathers are habitual to consume liquor and the economic conditions of their families is so poor due to which they lagged behind in school. Our activists consultated with all children and suggested them to keep away from all immoral activities. The organization suggested them to leave rag picking and to start going school. The children convinced and took oath to leave all immoral activities and to move towards study.

Many thanks again for your support!!

Many Regards
