Disabled people living in the rural villages do not have many moments of enjoyment as they are not many times involved in the rural functions, occasions etc. This happens due to their shyness and not many people like them are present in those functions, occasions etc. In this context, RSKS India is working with many disabled from many different rural remote villages for their welfare in the areas like social, education, empowerment and livelihood. RSKS India organizes their monthly meetings as well as also celebrates all the social days as well as festivals with them so that they could also not be left behind and have the moments of happiness.

This year we also celebrated the Giving Tuesday India with more than 70 disabled and children and 2 different rural locations. The disabled people as well as the rural people were invited by the RSKS Team to celebrate the Giving Tuesday India. In this program, all the disabled as well as other rural people participated and learned about the life skills which was taught to them by the RSKS team members. After this many games were organized with the disabled as well as with the rural people and at last all the disabled people as well as the rural community members went for the Marathon and then the winners were given awards/ rewards by the RSKS team members. All of these people were told about the importance of the GivingTuesday India and everyone heard it and understood the importance of the day.

All the disabled people as well as the rural people got to understand about the Giving Tuesday India and they excitedly participated in all the programs and gave their best as they knew that their dedication to celebrate this day would surely give inspiration to others. The health of these people also got increased through their participation in the marathon as well as in different sports activities. They also got to know about the life skills and their way of thinking towards the problems was also changed through this as now they see the solutions of the problems and not just the problems. The disabled people got the moments of happiness through these programs. The disabled people as well as the rural people thanked RSKS India team from bottom of their heart for organizing such a wonderful program at their village.
