We are excited to announce the rescue of 25 more children from Lake Volta!
Between the 2nd and 11th of August, a rescue operation was conducted on Volta Lake where 25 children who were victims of child trafficking and the worst forms of child abuse were successfully rescued.
The victims, made up of 21 boys and 4 girls were aged between 8 and 18. They were rescued from eight different communities along Volta Lake. These children are currently receiving a series of psychological counseling, and physical and medical examinations at our rehabilitation center.
We extend our greatest appreciation to all and sundry supporting us in putting smiles on the faces of these children, thank you!
