Children living in farming communities in Ghana often face poor access to healthcare, nutrition challenges, and limited medical support due to poverty and long distances to health facilities. Many suffer from untreated illnesses such as malaria, infections, and malnutrition. This project will provide free health screening, medicines, and medical outreach services for 500 vulnerable children in farming communities.
Children in farming communities are highly vulnerable to preventable diseases due to poor living conditions, limited healthcare access, and inadequate nutrition. Many families cannot afford medical treatment or transportation to clinics, leading to delayed care and worsening health conditions. As a result, many children continue to suffer from treatable illnesses that affect their growth and development.
This project will deliver mobile health outreach services to farming communities, providing free consultations, child health screenings, essential medicines, and treatment for common childhood illnesses. Health workers will also educate parents on hygiene, nutrition, malaria prevention, and early treatment seeking to improve child health outcomes.
This project will improve the health and well-being of 500 children in farming communities. It will reduce untreated childhood illnesses, improve nutrition awareness, increase access to basic healthcare, and support healthier growth and development for vulnerable children in rural areas.
