Dear Friends,

Thank you for your continued support to GLS and GLH. God has given us another chance to share about the school progress.  We have had guardians meeting where we discussed plans for their children-  Shared about our Child protection Policy and explained about child abuse forms (Physical, sexual and Emotional) –GLH shall continue following these forms of abuses .  We encouraged parents about prompt fees payments for those who pay

Other GLH life

There have been study tours to Kidepo National park, Kampala city square and Museums . Children had exposure to practical aspects of what they study in class. They saw amazing wild animals and appreciated how they adapt to their living environment.GLS Teaching continue to Improve with students doing more of personal reading, group discussion see attached photo of  children  discussing . We are buying school text books from any small money that comes in to support the reading habit of our children.

Several members are now working at our farm to help with Children food production.

We welcome Jakisa Nyitho, our Science consultant Teacher.  He is here to volunteer by teaching our primary 7 class. We pray that his time with us is smooth. The classroom block construction is ongoing The foundation raised is very strong that it could hold any future build given the finances.  Friends have suggested for a temporary roof as we wait for the Lord to provide in the future.

Sad news.   GLH children lost their lovely cat they named it ‘’LOVE’’ it was buried on 10/o7/2018 in deep sadness since it has been showing them love and helping to chase rats at GLH. Some children cried in the process of paying their last respect. May God bring comfort to our children and trust God for another lovely Cat.

       Prayer Request

1-Regular funder to come on board. We are praying for $1,150 monthly for 5 years to be able to maintain the support we are giving. Any contact to friends outside there will be appreciated.

2-GLS Classroom block to be finished and School text books

3-Classroom chairs, Tables when the class block is finished.

4-The Lord to talk to one brother about his visit to GLH this year or early next year 2019. He has deeply encouraged us to move in the Lord we love him so much –Pray that the Lord will provide $5,000 for his air ticket to Uganda.

5-Global Giving Visit this year and that the Lord provide protection/safety.

6-Our GLH team to thrive and that we are able to have a farm house there as soon as possible.

Blessings,

James Mukiibi
