News Letter 2025
Dear Friends of GLH,
Congratulations to the New Year 2026! One of my newly converted friends challenged me that why the joy for the year you have not seen yet? My reply was we have not seen nor heard what the lord is about to do for those who believe in Him and I believe this is our year of Divine Uplift. Psalm113:7-8, not primarily materially but spiritually. What a milestone for the 2025
Several matters to be thankful for
We have fed and supported 60 orphans directly with Feeding, Education, Housing and Health
S.4 and primary 7 students have sat for their government exams (6) and 15 respectively. The P7 results are just in and we are excited. (Grades awarded 1 – 4 and U). Our GLS P7 achieved 6 Grade 1, 7 grade 2 and 2 grade 3. (The GLH children got 6 Grade 1 and 4 grade 2). (We are not an examination centre so the credit for the results is claimed by the school they sat the exams at. We would love to be an examination centre but need the money to buy regulation desks and chairs). S4 results due out in the next few day.
Post Primary. 2 of 2024 year’s S4 , Elizabeth and Cynthia, were able to advance to A-level studies S5 and this year they are candidates in S6. Another 4 were able to attend better secondary schools and they are doing well (Elisha, Isaac, Rodrine, Patience). All thanks to individual donors. There are a further 11 doing self-reading (2 year course), 5 doing GLV and another 10 combining self-study with GLV . (Two generous teachers have done teaching online to our students, from the USA in maths and from the UK in physics). There are 28 in Primary. Giving the total of 60
Safe drinking water was provided and kids are freely enjoying drinking water (without it being carried distances)

We have done well in games and sports wining trophies
Allen, Irine and Fausta have moved on from GLV: Allen and Irine into running a shop and Fausta a salon2025
For online learning we would be grateful for 5 laptops and for GLV Tailor’s Dummies
Our theme of the year 2025 was a year of Testimony for Joy; based on Zechariah2:5 ‘’ For I, says the Lord , will be a wall of fire around her , and I will be the glory in her midst” .
Audited accounts for 2025 are available An enormous “Thank you” to you
