GLH Project Report

Dear Friends,

Thank you for praying …we last shared our on 22/Feb...We are now reaching you for Fresh updates. So many things have been achieved.

a)      Our school term started on 22/Feb/2016, ended on 07/May/2016, we are now looking forward to start our second term on 30/May /2016. We thank you all for making our school term a success! School fees well paid, Students leadership council formed, Improvement in English speaking skills..Irene and others can now speak well, Practical aspects in teaching especially Science,  few cases of sickness…

b)      Teacher Grace and …came to do Teacher practice at GLS. They have appreciated our GLS students for being keen to studies and God fearing acts of love..They can share little in their hands, attend Christian school services, many have given out there time to visit hospitals/clinic when their friend get hospitalized, Irene and Michael got hospitalized but most of the children made a visit.

c)      A friend in UK has helped with accounts and we now have a very clear focus on GLH finances.

d)     Teacher Justus completed his Primary Teacher Training course got second class lower and Julius ,Head Teacher is also furthering his studies in Child development

 

e)      Mango course attained on Financial Sustainability for NGO. ‘’April 11-13’’this has given a lovely feedback to GLH. We were introduced to Financial management skills for financial sustainability , Reserve funds , Financial mix matrix , Calculating donor dependency ratios, SWOT analysis,…these ideas where shared to GLH staff and community we serve.

 

f)       Irene and others   recovered from sickness…. Praise the Lord psalms 105:2

 

g)      Vocation students section doing well. They have grasped the concepts in Tailoring…they can now Make Trousers , skirts , shirts,….In short they can now help working GLS school uniforms. With a few in hair dressing and computer skills, Vehicle mechanics, Electrical installation, Business Administration. We appreciate Global Giving for the huge support to vocation section.

Please here are our needs and we would very much appreciate if you share the word to Friends, church, community outside there.

a)      Well Wishers to support two storey build plan

b)      Child sponsorship Administrator to be got to do fundraising

c)      An Australian friend “whispers on behalf of GLH” to bear fruit

d)     True and Honest Friends to Join GLH

e)      School fees for next School term to be paid promptly

f)       Enrolment of members with missionary heart to serve at GLH.

g)      People’s Promises to GLH to be fulfilled

h)      Friend’s Visit towards the end of the year comes smooth .God’s will to be done as James plans a journey a way , same time as he would like to welcome the visitor .
