Dear Supporters;

Thank you so much for yout continuous support to GLH. The children’s health has greatly improved as a result of better nutrition. They can now are eating a variety of  fruits, greens, meat and rice.

The children had the opportunity to go for study Tour at Entebbe AirPort, the Zoo, and various historical sites like the Uganda museum and City Squares. The children learnt about key historical figures and other important aspects of the Uganda history.

GLH children have had the opportunity to participate in sports.  It was the first time the children played on such a large field.   They placed 8 out 12 schools and were very excited!  We want to thank you for supporting our children with sports gear which was a requirement in order to participate in the games.

Nabakooza, Irene and Patience have greatly improved in their school work.  Their spoken English and Mathematics skills are improving as is their social skills. You will remember the two girls are double orphans and it was not easy for them to adapt to life at GLH. Patience hopes to be a lawyer and Irene hopes to be a pastor. We pray that the Lord may reward their efforts. I have attached a  picture of Irene in front of her school classroom and one of Patience with the Head Teacher Julius.

We continue our daily efforts to provide education, nutritious food and quality medical care for over 40 orphans. Twenty pounds will cover the basic cost to provide with these basic needs for one month.  We are still in need of providing back school fees for the second term.  Third term fees are due on September 22nd.  The total cost for 15 children is; 9,900,000Ugsh approximately 1,980 pounds.  And contributions towards the childrens education would be greatly appreciated.

Once again, thank you for supporting our children.

In God We Trust-
