Excitement of children during the assembly .

Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for praying GLH is continuing to flourish but this is due to your kind support. Feeding has been maintained, children are now very happy as you can see in the pictures.
I bring to you a few highlights and some photos  attached.

ATTENDENCE

Our GLH students’ attendance to the respective schools is good including to GLS. Relationships with the schools we deal with has gone high and they can now trust us in many areas. They have been able to take our students to the study tours and demand those payments later.
No record of a Teacher absence registered since the term resumed. We have registered 100% Teacher attendance and 98% Students attendance …Glory to God and thanks for your prayers and support.

ARRIVAL

Punctuality among the students is very good. They arrive between 06:10 am to 06:15am ready for studies.

ENTERTAINMENT
Our GLH and GLS students are training music for the graduation party and they are very ready to present there songs to the guardian on the Graduation day scheduled 9/12/2016 .You are most welcome to hear what our organisation has accomplished and enjoy these songs. Justus, our Deputy Head teacher has been in full control of the entertainment programme and wide range of school activities.

ACCADEMICS

Teachers are doing their work very well and Parents have appreciated some individual Teachers for the work done .In particular Science and maths Department. Pupils can do algebra very well, speak good English and do many sports activities.

HEALTH

Irene and Patience were recently critically ill but have made a very good recovery. (If you moan about the Health Service, remember GLH because the children only have basic health care after paying for it)
Our toilets are not good and all kinds of disinfectant have been used to stop a bad smell. However, the challenge is entirely on the small distance to the classrooms place and we hope that with the initiation of new classroom block , this will be stopped. Though we may not be sure if the ministry of Health will be patient with our Dream of building a new classroom block where finances are not yet found. Rubbish collection is well done .

We have water in plenty and all the tanks have been filled with rain water apart from the one up at the upper section(GLS) with link running out collected water. We thank you you friends for helping with water needs at GLH/S. We have enough and hence low/zero costs on seasons like this. Our key One of our staffs got head hard knock , has been under treatment . He has made a good recovery.

CONDUCT

Both Children and Teachers conduct is good…Alot of  love acts!

EXAMS

We are preparing to start our exams on Wednesday 24rd/11/2016 and expect to end on Friday 7nd/12/2016 . for the teachers to start marking upto 10/12/2016. Then after , our students will go on with classes waiting for official government closing date assumed on 16/12/2016.
Lastly our end of year party is scheduled for 9th/12/2016.

ELECTRICITY CONNECTION;

We have been able to connect electricity at the new site plot for security purposes.

OTHERS;

Cooks are happily doing their work though mama Rachel has been sick for the last 4 days. She is gradually recovering.

As usual 25 pounds can educate and feed a child for a month and any help will be appreciated.
