We hope you had greatest of Christmas holiday and a great New Year.

We would like to keep all of you up-to-date of the activities and projects happened after July 2023 until the end of 2023:

1. Shabuka Bakobwa Project:

This project is a female empowerment project that encourages young women, teen mothers, girls and GBV victims to seek employment in the non-traditional workfield. It will be a 1 year project ending by the end of July 2024. The project focuses on the professional and personal skills training of 30 selected teen mothers and GBV victims, theory and practice in motocycle driving, attending self-defense classes (ESD) and other vital workshop lessons (lessons on nutrition, family planning, SRHR, hygiene and sanitation and so on).

2. December Food aid:

Normally Centre Marembo holds a couple of food aid distribution events monthly but during the Christmas break, we organised a few more events to help 200+ vulnerable members (children and women) within the Gasogi area. 

3. Gikondo ECD:

The Gikondo Early Childhood Development Center has finished its construction. We already bought school supplies and materials and we look forward to run its operations to help the children to be educated in a safe and nuturing environment while their young mothers will be able to attend vocational training class or go to work without any worries.
