An update about our educational project in Peru

 Dear Friends!

We’re excited to share the latest news from Casa Ainbo and Imfudo Kahle!

In May, we celebrated Mother’s Day with the amazing women in our community, sharing love, laughter, and heartfelt gratitude. Additionally, our kids showcased their creativity in a Recycling Art Competition, turning waste into wonders and learning the value of sustainability.

June was filled with vibrant moments that brought our community even closer. We celebrated San Juan, one of the most beloved holidays in the Peruvian jungle, with games, music, and the traditional dish juanes, prepared by both our kids and volunteers. Later in the month, we hosted a cultural activity where our international volunteers shared special traditions from their home countries, creating a beautiful space for learning and connection.

In July, as part of our environmental education program in Iquitos, Guardians of the Itaya River, the kids visited a local butterfly farm. Several parents joined the trip, a step toward strengthening our goal of integrating families into our school community. We also hosted a fun and challenging math competition, where the kids put their skills to the test. It was inspiring to see their confidence and teamwork shine!

You can view photos from all the events and read about the exciting things we have done in the last couple of months in the attached newsletters.

Thank you for being part of our journey and supporting education in Peru.

With gratitude,
Imfundo Kahle family
