Support a Mother, Transform Two Lives

Gracias al apoyo recibido, continuamos acompañando a madres gestantes mediante acciones orientadas a fortalecer su bienestar y brindarles herramientas que contribuyan a una mejor calidad de vida para ellas y sus familias.

“Soy una mamá de Andes del programa Mis Primeros Años desde el 2024. Cuando ingresé al programa, estaba embarazada. El primer apoyo económico me llegó cuando mi hija tenía solo dos meses; en ese momento sentí una inmensa alegría, ya que somos del campo y mi esposo es el único que trabaja recogiendo café. Todo lo que tenemos depende de él, por lo que fue una gran bendición. Desde mayo de 2024 hasta ahora, ha sido una bendición continua, porque gracias a Dios, cada mes que llega el pago, estoy atenta para comprarle lo que necesita mi hija. Por ejemplo, en pañales, y si se enfermaba, tenía ahorrado para comprarle medicina. He podido usar ese dinero mucho para mi niña, y, gracias a Dios, ella ya cumplió dos años. Cada mes, cuando recibo el dinero, voy al pueblo y le compro leche, galletas, frutas y yogures, e incluso unas chanclas y calzoncitos. A veces no gasto todo y me quedan cuarenta o treinta mil pesos, que guardo para emergencias, como llevarla al hospital si es necesario. Honestamente, me ha servido mucho y estoy muy agradecida con el programa. Les agradezco por esta gran oportunidad de poder contar con el apoyo cada mes y saber que puedo adquirir lo que necesita mi hija. Esto me llena de felicidad. Que Dios los bendiga y que sigan apoyando a muchos más niños."

Actualmente, 19 madres participan activamente en este proceso de acompañamiento, beneficiándose de las diferentes actividades y apoyos desarrollados, lo que ha contribuido positivamente a sus procesos personales y familiares.

Cada una de estas historias nos invita a seguir fortaleciendo el cuidado, el acompañamiento y el desarrollo integral de las madres participantes, reconociendo el papel fundamental que desempeñan en sus hogares y comunidades.

Thanks to the support we’ve received, we continue to support expectant mothers through initiatives aimed at improving their well being and providing them with tools that contribute to a better quality of life for them and their families.

“I’m a mother from Andes who has been part of the Mis Primeros Años program since 2024. When I joined the program, I was pregnant. I received my first financial assistance when my daughter was only two months old; at that moment, I felt immense joy, since we’re from the countryside and my husband is the only one who works picking coffee. Everything we have depends on him, so it was a huge blessing. From May 2024 until now, it has been a continuous blessing, because thank God, every month when the payment arrives, I make sure to buy what my daughter needs. For example, diapers, and if she got sick, I had savings to buy her medicine. I’ve been able to use that money a lot for my little girl, and, thank God, she’s already turned two. Every month, when I receive the money, I go to town and buy her milk, cookies, fruit, and yogurt, and even some flip-flops and underwear. Sometimes I don’t spend it all and have forty or thirty thousand pesos left over, which I save for emergencies, like taking her to the hospital if necessary. Honestly, it has helped me a lot, and I am very grateful for the program. I thank you for this great opportunity to have support every month and to know that I can buy what my daughter needs. Currently, 19 mothers are actively participating in this support program, benefiting from the various activities and resources provided, which have had a positive impact on their personal and family lives.
