The Center for Peacebuilding (CIM) in Sanski Most is developing a Seminar House at the Peace Farm—an inclusive, self-sustaining space where young people from across Bosnia and Herzegovina can learn, heal, and build lasting peace.
Bosnia and Herzegovina remains deeply divided, with rising political tensions, hate speech, and mass youth emigration. For over 20 years, CIM has created safe spaces for dialogue through peace camps, interreligious programs, trauma-informed workshops, and youth leadership initiatives, empowering young peacebuilders to transform their communities.
To strengthen this mission and reduce dependency on grants, CIM is building a multifunctional Seminar House on the Peace Farm. The new facility will include a year-round conference room, a small restaurant, 40 beds for participants, and accommodation for educators. This will allow us to host programs throughout all seasons, welcome partner organizations, and generate income to support long-term peacebuilding work.
The Seminar House will transform the Peace Farm into a sustainable regional hub for dialogue, education, and reconciliation—ensuring that future generations have a safe place to meet, learn, and build a more peaceful Bosnia and Herzegovina.
