The Afghan Institute of Learning ( AIL) continues to be a leader in supporting grassroots Educational Learning Centers for women and girls and boys who have no other access to education. At the same time, AIL is building the capacity of communities to provide educational services for themselves when the government is unable to.
Presently, AIL is supporting 33 grassroots Educational Learning Centers in five provinces of Afghanistan and in Peshawar, Pakistan for Afghan refugees. An average of 10,000 students monthly attend classes in these centers.
