Dear Supporters,
We are proud to share with you the progress of our sewing course for women. We started with eight women, but one had to drop out due to pregnancy. The remaining seven are still motivated and have learned amazing skills. They are now ready to start making their own products, such as a dress, a t-shirt, and a suit.
After finishing this, they will take an action change exam, and if they pass, they will graduate from our course. They will then meet with the founder and CEO of our local corporate partner in South Africa, who will help them set up their own business. They will have the opportunity to supply school uniforms to nearby schools and sell other items at the local market. They will also mentor and train other women who want to join the sewing industry.
To make this happen, we need your help. We want to provide these women with small grants and loans to start their businesses, as well as ongoing support to help them buy their own sewing machines. Each sewing machine costs $150, and it can make a huge difference in their lives. Any donation you can make to this project will be greatly appreciated.
Once we have helped these women launch their businesses, we will open our level 2 course and welcome a new batch of level 1 students.
Thank you so much for your support.
