By Muhammad Imad Ud Din | Project Leader

Student Council Elections Held at Alkhidmat Foundation School – Qutaiba Campus, Chitral

Date: May 19, 2025
Location: Boys Section, Alkhidmat Foundation School, Qutaiba Campus, Chitral
Participants: Students from Grade 4 to Grade 10

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan successfully organized a Student Council Election for the Boys Section at its Qutaiba Campus in Chitral, reinforcing the values of democracy, leadership, and civic responsibility among schoolchildren.

As part of the initiative, a pre-election awareness activity was conducted to guide students on voting procedures, the importance of elections, and rules of fair participation. This ensured the entire process was both educational and transparent.

Positions Contested: President & Secretary
Eligible Voters: 170 students
Votes Cast: 158 (an impressive turnout!)

The event not only engaged students in a hands-on democratic experience but also allowed them to take the first step in developing leadership skills and decision-making abilities. The students enthusiastically participated in campaigning and voting, showing their eagerness to contribute to a positive school environment.

Alkhidmat Foundation believes in nurturing future leaders by providing them with practical experiences, and this Student Council Election is a testament to that vision.

Impact:

  • Promoted democratic values

  • Built confidence and leadership among students

  • Fostered awareness about electoral processes

  • Created a sense of responsibility and teamwork

Alkhidmat remains committed to creating educational spaces that empower the youth of Pakistan
