By Muhammad Imad Ud Din | Project Leader

Title: Alkhidmat Annual Literary Festival Held in Peshawar – 23 Schools Participated

Summary

Alkhidmat Foundation successfully organized the Annual Literary Festival in Peshawar, bringing together students from 23 Alkhidmat Schools across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The festival provided a dynamic platform for children to showcase their creativity, confidence, and literary skills through a wide range of competitions.

This initiative reflects Alkhidmat’s commitment to holistic child development—nurturing not just academic learning but also talent, self-expression, and cultural engagement.

Story / Update

To celebrate creativity, learning, and cultural expression, Alkhidmat Foundation organized the Annual Literary Festival in Peshawar. Students from 23 schools traveled from various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to participate with passion and enthusiasm.

The festival featured competitions in:

  • Painting & Art

  • Speech (Urdu & English)

  • Essay Writing

  • Story Writing

  • Husn-e-Qiraat

  • Poetry Recitation

  • Milli Nagma (National Songs)

Each category offered children the opportunity to express their imagination, articulate their ideas, and demonstrate their talents.

Teachers and parents noted significant improvements in students’ confidence, communication skills, and creativity. The festival also fostered healthy competition, teamwork, and inter-school bonding.

For many children, this was their first experience of performing on a large stage—an experience that will stay with them for years and motivate them to continue learning and growing.
