Happy New Year to you and yours! As a member of the Imani House family we wish you all the best and even more success and prosperity as we move into the future.
All the work we have done over the past years, could not have been accomplished without YOU or like minded supporters. All the participants that benefited from our program, did so with YOUR assistance. We should be PROUD!
OUR work is not done yet though! Join us again as we continue this valuable mission. Get a sense of satisfaction from helping those less fortunate. As social creatures we all rely on one another in some way, shape or form. As you have surpassed obstacles and moved on to bigger and better things, so will those we serve. Help us continue to help them reach that goal.
For low-income parents and their children it is very important that resources are available to assist parents in being able to maintain employment to care for their families. Our program fills that need. Not only that but the benefits to the children involved are immense as well.
Our roster of both school year and summer program activities ensure that our youth grow up to be productive members of society, avoid delinquency and other wayward behavior and improve socially, emotionally, academically and physically. We have to continue to help our children holistically. With so many negative outside influences it is of utmost importance that we give our children just as many positive options and show them there is much more beyond the confines of the inner-city to be seen and experienced.
This summer WE accomplished that! Participants were able to engage in archery, steelpan drumming, dance, field days & trips, arts and crafts, dance, sewing and so much more. The children had a blast!
