Greeting Imani House friends and family!
We would like to take the time to say thanks for all your support!
Since our last update there have been no new developments for Camp Imani as it is a summer only program(Summer 2024); but our school year program has continued the wonderful work with our children. And we are definitely preparing for Camp Imani House 2025 which is right around the corner!
The school year afterschool program is very similar to the summer camp with the exception that it is not a full day program and has a stronger focus on academics. Children attend from 2:45pm- 5:45 pm and get assistance with homework, literacy assistance and tutoring in their acacademic problem areas. There's also still lots of fun for them too including archery, dance , sports, arts and crafts and much more.
In any case we could not have done it without you! To sustain a year round program is lots of hard work and dedication and we have done this for many, many years and hope to continue far into the future. With your assistance of course!
Donations from hardworking people like you are very important to us. We appreciate and commend your dedication to our program, especially considering the state of the world around us; but thats why we need your assistance even more! We need to prepare our children to survive and at that point it is almost a 24/7 task. We are up for the challenge! As we believe the children are the future.
We are hopefully you can join us in continuing this very important work! Stay tuned for Camp Imani 2025!
