Support 7 Weeks of Full-Day Summer at CAMP IMANI

We are gearing up for summer at IMANI HOUSE! Your support allows Camp Imani to continue to provide exciting and engaging activities and opportunities for up to 400 children from disadvantaged families and neighborhoods in Brooklyn. 2017 has been a big year for all of us, as we recently completed our Annual Walk-to-Live Event and Entertainment for Students and parents.

Walk-to-live is a community event, held every year to promote a healthy living agenda and raise awareness to fighting childhood obesity. The walk provided Arts & Crafts, live Music and Dancing, healthy foods such as Fruits and Vegetables, free CPR training and Blood Pressure Screenings.

Your generous donation will ensure that the Imani House summer camp programs remain free for these children, who are given the opportunity to improve their social skills as well as form valuable friendships for life, with no financial burdens or constraints upon their parents.

Camp Imani House is open 5 full days a week for7 weeks, and includes trips to the most exhilarating sites in NYC, such as the Liberty Science Center, Medieval Times, Coney Island and Prospect Park. Imani House activities include Chess, Dance, Karate, Steelpan Band, Music, Arts & Crafts

Support through our donors will greatly benefit the children who deserve a worthwhile summer to remember. Imani House looks forward to introducing our kids to many new experiences in a warm and welcoming environment.

We are licensed and insured and employ only the most qualified staff to participate in our programs, not just during the summer but throughout the year. Having fun is a top priority for us, but safety is just as important.
